We have updated our guidelines to optimize the publishing process, increase visibility (SEO), and ensure compliance with SciELO indexing standards through the OJS platform.

⚠️ Declaration of Compliance

Submitting an article constitutes a declaration that the authors accept all the journal's rules and conditions. Failure to comply with technical or ethical requirements will result in immediate REJECTION during the preliminary review, without entering the peer-review workflow.

1. Manuscript Preparation

Templates and Mandatory Format

All articles must be submitted using the official template plantilla-Espacios-esp.dotx. Only files in Word format (.doc or .docx) will be accepted.

* Submissions in PDF, LaTeX, or other formats are not accepted.

Authorship and Identification Requirements

  • Author Limit: Maximum of 4 for original research and 3 for systematic reviews.
  • Name Format: First Name, Middle Initial, and LAST NAME in uppercase (e.g., Renato J. VALDIVIESO). Compound surnames must be joined with a hyphen.
  • Affiliation and ORCID: It is mandatory to include the ORCID code and institutional affiliation (University/Institute), Country, and academic email (public domain emails such as Gmail or Yahoo are not accepted).

Manuscript Specifications

  • Length: Maximum of 15 A4 pages, including tables, figures, and references.
  • Structure: 35 lines per page (one-and-a-half spacing) and 62 characters per line.
  • Abstract and Keywords: Maximum of 80 words and 5 keywords. An English version (Abstract/Keywords) is mandatory.
  • Similarity: The textual similarity index must be below 30% (verified via Turnitin/iThenticate).
  • Visuals and Citations: Figures in .JPG or .PNG. Tables created in Word. Strict use of APA Standards (7th ed.) managed through bibliographic managers.
  • Ethics and AI: Include a paragraph on ethical compliance and a declaration regarding the use or non-use of Artificial Intelligence.

2. Submission Process

Step 1: Payment of Article Processing Charges (APC)
Complete the 110 US$ payment for APC. Save the transaction number or PayPal receipt, as it is a mandatory field for registration.

Step 2: Registration and Submission Form
Complete the submission form by attaching your article in Word format and the PayPal transaction number.
