Information For Librarians

We encourage academic and research institution libraries to include Revista Espacios in their electronic journal listings and institutional repositories.

Our publishing system is based on OJS (Open Journal Systems), an open-source software developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) that facilitates interoperability and metadata harvesting through standardized protocols such as OAI-PMH. Furthermore, this system is ideal for libraries interested in hosting or editing their own scientific journals.

Key points for library management:

  • Open Access: All our content is available under licenses that allow free reading, downloading, and distribution for academic and research purposes.
  • Indexing and Quality: We comply with the standards required by SciELO, guaranteeing the technical quality of metadata and its correct cataloging.
  • Digital Preservation: The journal utilizes the PKP PN preservation network to ensure long-term permanence and access to content.
